With a background that includes key roles at Global Atlantic and Lincoln Financial, Sam specializes in creating client-focused solutions and strategies for insurance and insure-tech firms.

His efforts have led companies to top market positions, notably driving Global Atlantic into the top 5 IUL providers and spearheading strategies that boosted annuity sales to over $10 billion in 2023. At Lincoln Financial, he played a pivotal role in maintaining top market shares for life insurance, underlining his expertise in sales, distribution, and strategic product development.

Craig Shingeno

Craig Shigeno, a seasoned executive in the life insurance industry, has contributed his expertise to prominent organizations like M Financial Group, Inviva, Inc., Tillinghast Towers Perrin, and Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Company (now Securian).

Throughout his 20 years at M Financial Group, Craig held various leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer, President and COO of M Financial Re, and spearheaded innovation, product development, and digital transformation initiatives.

During his 6-year tenure as President & COO of M Financial Re, he led the company to remarkable growth, with reinsurance profitability and shareholder distributions both seeing significant annual growth. Under his guidance, M Financial achieved unprecedented capital ratios and made substantial capital investments to support transformation, even amidst a global pandemic.

Craig’s strategic efforts in reinsurance not only enhanced shareholder value by over $200M but also fortified M Financial’s balance sheet. His current work focuses on advising the life insurance sector on growth strategies, new market entry, product innovation, and practice management.

Devin LaPlant

Devin has over 15 years of actuarial experience, and has held product-related roles since 2010. Her most recent role was Vice President of Product at M Financial Group where she led product development and product management through transformational change in how their exclusive products were delivered. 

Prior to that role, she was Director & Actuary at M Financial Group for about 6 years, designing and pricing life insurance products. She also held various roles at MetLife and RGA, including annuity risk management, retirement product pricing, asset/liability management, and valuation. Devin is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the Academy of Actuaries since 2013.

 When Devin is not working she cares for her two young sons and loves spending time outside in nature with her family.

Jordan Carreira

Jordan Carreira is a well-known financial services executive with decades of experience in underwriting. After 23 years, he retired as the Chief Underwriter and Vice President at Lincoln Financial.

 Jordan was responsible for developing and maintaining the Life underwriting philosophy and policy for the company. He specializes in reinsurance negotiations, underwriting training and auditing, and underwriting large face amount life insurance applications.

Bob Sawicki

Bob is an experienced executive coach and talent consultant specializing in executive onboarding, team coaching, leadership development, succession planning, and talent strategy. His goal is to align talent efforts with business objectives to boost individual, team, and organizational performance. 

With a distinguished career in talent management and organizational development, Bob has held senior positions in diverse sectors like financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing. Notably, he was the Senior Vice President, Head of Talent at Global Atlantic and has played pivotal roles at Magellan Health Services and The Hartford, earning significant accolades for his leadership development initiatives.
